Kiri Griswold

I am a biology student at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I'm studying to become a forensic biologist. I'm originally from LaGrange, North Carolina, but I've spent most of my life in Goldsboro North Carolina. Living in the city allowed me to participate in a lot of community activities, such as: Go Wayne Go, Backpack Buddy food give away, National Night Out vending , and the Benevolence Committee. I also held leadership as the overseer of the community liturgical dance group, V.O.T.E. (Victory Over the Enemy) , for 5 years. Aside from dancing, I was fascinated with science and how it could be used in the criminal justice field. I would spend hours watching "Forensic Files" or "48 hours". Eventually, I began to look up cases where DNA fingerprinting was used to solve a murder case.
