Linsy Abernethy

As a Junior at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, I am honored to be part of such an amazing and innovative family. My major is in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts and a minor in Educational Studies. I am a mother, wife, daughter, future educator and life-long learner. I enjoy helping others succeed academically and personally. If you were to ask any of my family members how I feel about education, they would likely tell you my philosophy; Never stop educating yourself, no one can take away your knowledge. I look forward to sharing my philosophy with my future students and teaching them to value education.
