Joseph Ibarra

I studied a Bachelor's degree in Science Nutrition for 4 years where I finished with a 9.3 GPA and continued to a 1 year internship at the Mexican Red Cross. I continued my studies with a Masters in Clinical Nutrition for two years which was a combination of courses as well as internship at different specialty hospitals where I finished first in my class with a 9.8 GPA. I am a certified EMT for the Mexican Red Cross where I volunteered for 2 years serving the population in emergency situations. I was a professor at two universities imparting principles of nutrition and nutrition in pathological states. I returned to the United States of America and took a genetics course at the University of Phoenix and then I was accepted into Prairie View A&M for a second Undergrad degree in Human Science and Nutrition in order to obtain a verification letter that will allow me to apply for a dietetic internship and allow me to sit for the registration exam and become a Registered Dietitian. During this time at Prairie View A&M I have been a full time student and held a full time job in order to sustain myself and my wife which is facing the same situation as I am. I am eager to continue my professional endeavors and become the best dietitian possible.
