About
I am currently a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Mobile, AL. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in May of 2013 from the University of South Alabama. I have been a nurse for three and a half years and I am looking to advance my career. My main goal is to eventually achieve a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree. Currently, I am enrolled full time at the University of Alabama in the Master of Science in Nursing program. My concentration is in the Family and Psych Nurse Practitioner track. I am currently in my second semester with expectations to graduate in Summer of 2018. Once I graduate with my MSN, I will move towards the DNP program in hopes of seeking a teaching position at a university in my area.

- Career goal
I have hopes to work as a nursing instructor at one of the major universities in my area on the Gulf Coast. I have always aspired to teach nursing students in a way that would be more beneficial to their learning and success.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently attending the University of Alabama for a Master of Science in Nursing degree with a concentration in the Family/Psych Nurse Practitioner role. After I finish with my MSN, I have plans to enter the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at the University of Alabama.
