About

I am currently a pre-nursing student in University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am studying to be a Family Nurse Practitioner. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where my dad works as a police officer and my mother works at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The healthcare industry has been apart of my life ever since I was a little girl, I was allowed the opportunity to job shadow my mother in Children's Hospital and for a day, I was allowed to be the helping hand to a Family Nurse Practitioner. This day sparked my interest and driven me to follow the career of my dreams. I have participated in many organizations within my high school years which required strong communication, interpersonal skills, and volunteer service such as: the FCCLA, WAC Pack-( serves to mentor freshmen), Best Buddies Club, Tutor, and also having the opportunity to be in the National Honor Society. Currently I am apart of a program called the Nursing Endeavor Program for nursing students looking to have an advanced outlook on college life and to help discover opportunities such as jobs and internships related to our individual, career paths.
