About
I am currently studying at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, my Major is in Music Education with the Classical Guitar as my prime instrument. Prior to moving out to Corpus I was a director on the board of a non-profit back in El Paso, Tx called "The El Paso Society for Musicians of the Future". We existed to help young struggling students with a passion for music advance in their education as well as to volunteer and support our local communities through various out reach. In addition to my academic pursuits in music I have been composing, performing, and recording my own music outside of school for many years. Through hard work and persistence I have managed to acquire an endorsment from Stonebridge Guitars and signed to the online record company Fluttery Records. I love music, its what I've done all my life both in academia and out of it.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to teach music, specifically guitar, for a few years after I graduate while I repay my student loans. After a few years of teaching I would like to join the peace corps and develop my own program to teach music that explores the philosophy and therapeutic aspects of being a musician and learning how to play music. Once I achieve my Masters I plan on pursuing a career as a composer for films, Movies have always been a passion of mine and composing for films would be the best of both my passions. I do intend to find my way back to teaching one day and use all the knowledge and life experience I gained over the course of my life to help my students as best as I can.
- Graduate school interests
After attaining my BA in Music Education I intend to pursue my Masters in Film Score. Film has always been a second passion of mine in addition to music so marrying the two always seemed like the best of both worlds for me.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy exercise, it has been a small dream of mine to participate and finish a marathon. I am constantly training
I enjoy film, I have shot and entered several of my films into local competitions and they tend to do very well. I often plan my summers around new films that I make with my friends
