Joe DeLeone

I am currently a student athlete at the University of Rhode Island. On and off the field I attack every possibility I have to get better with tenacity and determination. Through all of my years of playing sports I have learned the only way to achieve your goals is through hard work, and I have made it my goal to apply that to all aspects of my life. In the classroom in my first semester at URI I made the Dean's List with a GPA of 3.63, and hope to push my GPA higher in the future. However while grades are important to me, the greater importance is the skills we attain through our learning and how we use them in the future. On the field for football, I started 4 games as a true Freshman as a Long Snapper, and am on pace for Academic All Conference in the CAA. I am currently studying Journalism and hope to use my love for football to help me get on TV as a Sports Broadcaster, and a Football Analyst.
