About
My name is Emily and I'm an upcoming Junior at the University of South Carolina. I am majoring in journalism and minoring in English. I am also currently studying independently to get my first nationally accredited personal training certification through the NSCA. I work as a personal trainer at the 9 Round of Summerville and want to use my experience in the fitness industry and my degree to work for a fitness magazine so I can reach more people and help them improve their quality of life.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to continue personal training and use my degree to work for a fitness blog or magazine so I can reach larger audiences and positively impact as many lives as possible. Within the next few months I will be starting up my personal training business that I will maintain through college and after graduation.
- Graduate school interests
I don't have any interest in going to grad school. I want to head straight to the working world when I get out of college.
- Outside the classroom
I love to read and write books and stories in my free time, but most of all I enjoy training and working out/training for events like Hell Camp.
