About

as a young child i have always shared an interests in learning about ancient civilizations such as Africa, Rome,Greece, and China. i knew that i wanted to peruse a career in historical studies when i had got much older when i had read this book on African Americans who has made contributions to the world. in high school even though i shared a passion for knowing history i never seen myself teaching history. instead i wanted to be a banker. in my first year of college i majored in business and administration so that i can get my Associates degree business. but i as i kept going didn't see my self wanting do banking. the only reason i wanted to do banking was because of the amount of money i would be making. in my second semester of college i had took a class on African american history and the professor who was teaching the class is who inspired me to want to pursue a career in being a history professor. the way he taught the class was something i liked about him. he was always happy, he cared about his students, and i formed a bond with him outside of the classroom i am the first to go to college in my family and i want to inspire kids that it does not matter where you come from or the situation that you are in that you can go above and beyond in life.
