About
Throughout high school, I took numerous dual credit college courses that helped set me ahead by a semester worth of classes for college. This first freshman year, I have finished up some general education courses and some prerequisite courses for the nursing program. I also applied to the nursing program as an early acceptance student and was accepted in January into the Missouri Western State University Nursing program for 2021.

I have been a member of NHS for the past three years. As a national honors society member, I have served a little over 50 hours for community service in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Academic Lettering Award (6)
Throughout high school, I obtained six academic lettering awards for having advanced level grades. I earned four for each year of high school and two from the two years of vocational advanced school at Summit Technology Academy.

Track Maker Award
I earned a Track Maker award for receiving an advanced on my end of course exams.

George Washington Carver Metal
In 2019, I received this award (metal) for my GPA being within the top ten percent of my peers and I was actually in the top three percent.

A+ Recipient
I was able to receive the A+ program option from doing over fifty hours of volunteering work and maintain above a 2.5 GPA.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path proceeding college will be in the nursing field in the hospital setting. I intend on graduating college with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and then moving into the hospital as a registered nurse. After I obtain a few years of experience, I plan to go to graduate school for my Nurse Practitioner license. Once I have completed this and gained some experience in the hospital setting, I would love to use my degrees and experiences as a nurse to go on mission trips to other countries that are in need of medical assistance.

After obtaining my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and getting experience in the work force, I plan to attend graduate school to get my Nurse Practitioner license.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, my hobbies consist of art and craft and bible study groups. When I like to use my imagination and get crafty, I like to crochet blankets, write in calligraphy, and make multimedia art pieces. At school and home, I am involved with bible study groups and missions to help others. This past spring break, I was able to go to Phoenix, Arizona on a mission.
