Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to work in marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation working with animals such as seals, dolphins and whales. I also hope to assist in research that will aid the marine mammal science field when it comes to animal standings, rescues and rehabilitation.
- Graduate school interests
I am hoping to study marine mammal science and find a focus that will help me aid in a future career in this field while learning more about marine mammals and different research practices that are taking place in the marine mammal science field.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time I enjoy volunteering with wildlife, hiking, kayaking, skiing and spending time with my family and friends
I have played the fiddle for 7 years focusing primarily on Irish and Scottish music but dabbling in Cape Breton and American fiddle tunes as well. I also studied Irish dance for 11 years and competed in it for 8 years having also achieved second place in the New England Region.
