About

I was born in Nice, France and moved to America when I was 18. After graduating with the highest honors from French high school with a major in economics and political sciences, I decided to make this big leap and flew to California to pursue my undergraduate studies at Santa Monica College, where I became deeply concerned regarding environmental and climate issues. While enrolled at SMC, I became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society where I partook in various meetings, volunteering opportunities, events, and entered a community of like-minded thinkers. I graduated in June 2019 with a double Associate's degree in Environmental Studies and in Liberal Arts: Social and Behavioral Science, and received the highest honors (with a 4.0 GPA).
After my graduation, I was received into the prestigious and competitive NASA DEVELOP National Program. My teammates and I worked on a 10-week urban development project in partnership with the NYU City Health Dashboard to produce data assessing urban vegetation across 700 cities in the United States. Our end product will support better targeted urban planning and policies nationwide.
I transferred in September 2020 into the third year of a French Bachelor in Applied Sciences, Ecology and Society and, after my graduation this coming June, will pursue an MBA in Global Business at Laval University in Canada.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Combining my academic background in environmental sciences with an MBA in Global Business, I aspire to pursue a career in renewable energy development and management, following along my deep passion for environmental issues and mitigation strategies, as well as my interest in driving the transition towards a decarbonized society.

Graduate school interests

I will be pursuing an MBA in Global Business starting Fall 2020 at Laval University in Canada. Furthering my education with an MBA degree will bolster my initial education in social and environmental sciences by providing me with a strong basis regarding technical aspects of business administration such as managerial skills, accounting, and corporate finance. My ultimate career goal is to bolster renewable energy development worldwide, with a focus on emerging countries which today represent the biggest sustainable and energy development challenge.

Outside the classroom

I have been playing the piano and the guitar for five years. I am also passionate for outdoor activities: I have been swimming since I was old enough to remember, I obtained an Open Water Diver licence in 2019, and started trekking a couple of years ago (my father and I had planned to trek to Mount Everest base camp this April 2019; however, our trip got cancelled because of the current pandemic).
