Cody Truex

I am currently deploying overseas to serve my country. I am a Religious Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army Reserves. I assist a Chaplain in religious services. I do administrative work for the Chaplain. My three main core competencies are nurture the living, care for the wounded, and honor the fallen. We provide mental and moral support for U.S. soldiers. We deal with soldier's emergencies within their family. Lastly, I protect the Chaplain for he or she cannot yield a weapon. While I am overseas I plan to keep attending school online at St. Petersburg College. I am very close to an associate's degree. I currently have 45 credits. While I achieve my degree I plan to search for a career within my degree. I am thankful to be in the Honor Society and plan to explore their services to take control of my future.
