Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend on pursuing a career of social work with an emphasis on family and children. While I continue to serve in the Navy, I want to serve my shipmates with my psychology major and Human Resources Management minor to make their careers as successful as they wish while ensuring the work places I encounter are productive and comfortable. I understand stress has a heavy impact on the body and mind, so I hope to reduce controllable stresses in the work place as much as I can.
- Graduate school interests
Social Work and Public Health
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy scuba diving (especially around the Micronesian islands). Exploring what our beautiful oceans have to offer us has to be the most exhilarating yet most peaceful experience I have had.
I also enjoy hiking, walking my dog Lily, spending time with family in Michigan, vacationing in Japan (my first home away from home), and trying new foods.
