Mindy Evans

I currently attend Purdue Global University for the Medical Billing and Coding Certificate. I am expected to graduate in August of 2020. I live in Florida with my son, he is on the Autism spectrum and at an adult age. I have one sibling, an older sister, a brother-in-law, and two adult age nephews that live in the same town here in Florida. Family is important to me and we are very close, I try to spend my available time with my family whether it is on an adventure to a fun destination or just relaxing in the home. I love animals, I have two cats right now because my apartment only allows 2 pets. I was born in 1978 in a small town in Texas, I grew up in a small town in Missouri on a farm with a variety of livestock and even when we moved to Florida in 1991 my mother, my sister and I continued to live the farm life. I have only lived in the city since June of 2019. My mother was a retired RN and passed away in January 2019. My mother was in the medical field all my life, as an adult I have been a Medical Assistant, Caregiver, dog breeder and groomer, as well as a private school owner and administrator for children with special needs K-12. I am currently a Customer Service Representative at a retail store while attending my online classes with my University in pursuit of my new career taking me back into the medical field as a coding and billing specialist.
