Brittany Ruiz

Hello, My name is Brittany Marie Ruiz. I am currently attending Howard College in San Angelo, TX where I was born and raised. I come from a large family, including 8 siblings. Caring for others in anyway possible has always been my calling. My major is Nursing. Im currently enrolled in the LVN program but that is only the beginning. I plan to finish with my Bachelors in Science. Being the second oldest it is a great priority to set an example for my younger brothers and sisters. I strive to succeed in everything I do, to show my siblings that all things are possible and any dream can come true. I live alone and work as a waitress, CNA and hairdresser to provide for myself and pay for college. I am no longer eligible for FAFSA and am very thankful for the Honor Society Program. I've been an Honor student while I attended Middle School, High-school and now College. During my high-school years I was in a Culinary Program were I volunteered at our Local Hospital Shannon. I also volunteered for many of our small businesses and Military Balls. When I reach my goal becoming a Nurse I want to make a difference and leave my imprint in our community in every way possible.
