About
My name is Himanshu Thakur. I am currently attending Southington High School in Southington, CT. I am taking almost all Honors level courses and other AP courses. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I have gotten 1200 on the PSAT which I plan to improve. I also plan to go to college and get a 4-year degree. I also plan to major in engineering or go into the field of finance or even medical. I joined Honor Society because I think it is great platform to get scholarships and there are great benefits.

I have gotten the honor roll through out high school and middle school. Many times I have gotten first honors.

1st place regional best robotics competition
I am on team 195 for robotics which has won many awards. For example, last year, we got 3rd in the world.

I am in a program called project lead the way. It is a pre college engineering program which teaches skills and what we will learn in college. It is a 4 year Honors courcse that is offered to selective students.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
Although I am not currently sure, I want to go to a good college and choose a field of study from there. I'm currently thinking about going into the field of finance, engineering, or even medical.
- Graduate school interests
Some universities I am currently looking at are MIT, Yale, UConn, and Boston University. There are just some of the options I have in mind because I am also looking at many other smaller universities.
