About

Currently a senior at UT Brownsville, raised in the Rio Grande Valley having the opportunity to grow up with two distinct cultures has allowed me to gain great understanding of how different cultures live their lives and values. Living in Brownsville border city to Matamoros, Mexico when the war on drugs and illegal immigrant rates are increasing the research I am involved in will benefit our area and everywhere else in the country to better help immigration and find the correlations between high influx of immigrants and drugs.
