Jason Ashcroft

I am currently an Film & Media Arts student at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. I previously attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah and studied Business Management.I am studying to work in the film industry and eventually become a major Hollywood motion picture producer. I grew up in Kaysville, Utah where I attended Davis High School and was active in volunteering for the local alternative high school Mountain High. I also volunteered for my church and worked at the Deseret Mill and Pasta plant here in Kaysville. I also was active in the Boy Scouts of America and obtained the Eagle Scout Award in 2014. I have a immense love for film and consider it my greatest passion. I have developed multiple film scripts and am actively engaged in learning anything I can about film-making. Being the son of a banker, I have been taught throughout my life the importance of business and creating a reasonable budget and sticking with it. As well as film, I am passionate about business and have taken many business courses while at the University of Utah. I understand the importance of business relationships and strive to network across the country and add any positive influence I can. I strive to make a difference in the film industry and will work hard to accomplish that.
