Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to be able to teach criminal justice online at universities and still work as a telecommunicator. I eventually want to be a PSAP manager. Since I completed my Communications Training Officer program and currently the training officer for my shift, I have come to realize how much I enjoy teaching and helping others excel and be the best at their job that they can be. I am trying to get all the education I can so I can teach others during these trying times.
- Graduate school interests
I have already applied and been accepted into Eastern Carolina University Criminal Justice Administration Graduate School program. I hope to have it completed within 1-2 years and also completing my certificates for Criminal Justice Education and Public Administration.
- Outside the classroom
My main hobby right now is finishing my Masters degree. When school is not in session I love to read, crotchet and hunt. I only hunt for food. I don't believe in killing animals for anything other then to put food on the table. I mostly rabbit hunt but I don't carry a gun. I train dogs to rabbit hunt and that is mostly what I do when we are hunting. My husband kills the game and rabbit is lean meat so it is good for you. I read constantly no matter if its school books or books on my nook or kindle. I enjoy training and teaching others that I train at work and I train dogs.

-
I volunteered as a Fireman and I was also a medical responder for my community. We had to take continuing education every year. I worked structure fires, wrecks, and medical calls that EMS needed assistance with. I wanted to help the community the state started implementing more and more education that I couldn't keep up with it and go back to school so I resigned.
