About
After 25 years in the consumer electronics business, I decided to follow my dream of entering the healthcare field. After originally settling on a nursing career, I changed my degree program to nutrition. It was during my coursework I realized that I preferred the opportunity to not only help people once they became sick but I wanted the ability to help people before disease and illness became another concern in their everyday lives. My past work in poor communities has pushed me to seek alternative ways to offer better food options in areas where there are very few, if any options.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My degree in nutrition will help me realize my desire of becoming a clinical dietitian.
- Graduate school interests
My intent, once I've earned my undergraduate degree, is to attain my graduate degree in one of two fields: nutrition or exercise and sports nutrition. Seeking wise council to make an informed decision on which path I should take is of utmost importance to me. At the ripe, young age of 51, I don't feel I have time to waste in making the right decision for me and my family so wise council is extremely important.
