About
My name is Jonathon Larson and I'm a current student at Madison Area Technical College (MATC). I'm currently majoring in Finance and going for my Associates Degree for now. If need be, I'll look into furthering my education. I'm going into finance because I believe it can help me with day to day life. Only one semester in, and I've learned so much! I'm also studying for my Real Estate license which really keeps me busy. Having my real estate license and a degree in financing will open up many doors of opportunity for me. I couldn't be any more excited about what the future holds for me.

Real Estate/Finance:
As of now, I'm studying for my real estate license outside of the college. I have a great opportunity working as a real estate agent for First Weber once I complete my studies. However, if my real estate career doesn't work out, I'll have a degree in financing and wouldn't mind finding a career in that field. The more I learn about finance, the more I find myself wanting to pursue a career in the field. I'm not set on a specific job for finance but wouldn't mind becoming a financial advisor of some sort. That most likely would require more education on my behalf, but that is totally fine with me! I'm a person who likes to give myself options in case something doesn't work out.
- Outside the classroom
I'm a husband and father of one! We have a toddler named Mason and expecting another addition to the family in August 2021! Being a full-time dad and husband, I seem to always have my hands full. I enjoy taking walks and hikes with my family. We try to utilize our time outside as much as we can! I also love playing basketball. Whenever I need some time to clear my head, I'll head to the gym and shoot some hoops!
