About
As a non-traditional student I am excited and passionate about working with children in a school setting. I had an amazing opportunity to be a volunteer teacher in Bethlehem, West Bank for the 2017-18 school year. That experience shaped my views on the importance of education for all. Going to school to become an elementary teacher is the first step towards my goal. From there I am looking for opportunities in areas that need education the most, both in the U.S. and around the world.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
To teach upper elementary classes in a rural area either in the Untied States or in another country.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy outdoor activities particularly hiking and skiing. I love to read, my goal for this year is 40 books, where I balance between fiction and non-fiction genres. I also bring out my inner grandma when I pick up the embroidery needle, while I am waiting for dinner to cook.
