About
I'm currently a student at Blinn Community College as an undergraduate freshman. I will be transferring to UTSA in the Fall of 2021 and will continue my education by majoring in psychology. Once transferring I wish to pursue a second major in sociology and a minor in education. One day I hope to hold my own private practice as a therapist and teach at a college level since it was in a sociology college classroom that set me on this path I'm passionate about. I'm deeply interested with the mind and how society interacts; I hope to one day use my knowledge in the fields of psychology and sociology to help others. Raised by a single mother and the first girl in my family to attend college education is a huge focal point in my life and a milestone I am determined to succeed in.

Goals and interests

With my degree I plan to use it to help others in a counseling setting working towards holding my own private practice and then providing education in either the psychology or sociology field at a college level.
- Graduate school interests
After finishing my current second semester at Blinn College I plan to continue my education at the University of Texas in San Antonio in pursuit of my degree. Once attaining my Bachelor's with UTSA I plan to attain my Master's and would like to study abroad so that I could learn more about the world around me and the different levels in education in my field outside of the United States.
- Outside the classroom
I've been an avid classical music listener since I was little and from the time I was 12 years old I've been trained classically in music with a passion for opera. In my free time I enjoy singing, playing piano or ukulele, visiting museums, and painting/drawing.
