About
I am currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University, Ga where I am starting my study of Architecture and Construction Management. After I complete my first year, I plan on transferring to Georgia Institute of Technology to further my studies. Following graduating with my Bachelors in Architecture and Construction Management, I would like to intern with architects and architecture firms to build experience in the work field. During this time, I plan to take the certification test to become a licensed architect. After that I would like to go back to school to get my Masters for Business in Architecture.
My love for Architecture sparked at a young age, from building Legos to spending most Sunday afternoons going through open houses around my home town. The aspect of design has always been incorporated in my life since it runs in my family. My grandmother went to school for architecture and my dad attended Georgia Institute of Technology for industrial design. I have spent many days exploring the world of design with my family.
Apart from school, I have expanded my determination and hard work towards sports and work. I played volleyball my last two years of high school and was team captain. I was awarded Offensive MVP my first year and Most Christ-Like my second year. I also work my last two years at a local tea shop as a waitress and then the head of the kitchen. in the two years I worked there, I was given 4 raises and many responsibilities.
My love for family and people has had a big influence on my desire to be an architect. I would love to find ways to help the homeless in cities around the world and help them find shelter in times of need. Religion was a big part of my childhood, which has also encouraged my desire to help missionaries around the world with building of churches and sanctuaries.
