Goals and interests

Career goal

Currently I am studying Business but I intend on majoring in Economics. Although I do not have a specific career path in mind, I have researched and found a couple that I believe I would enjoy. They include: Pricing Analyst, Economist, Actuary, and Trader (securities or commodities). As of now I would like to keep my options open so I can explore my major in a broader sense, that way I can learn more aspects of economics and be well versed.

Graduate school interests

After NIACC I am continuing my education at either Iowa State University or University of Florida, I am still undecided at this time. I am definitely obtaining a BA but I plan to get my MA as well to further my knowledge in Economics.

Outside the classroom

In my free time I enjoy playing sports and being active, drawing and creating art, and listening to music. I also like to play pool, watch shows/movies, and hang out with friends and family. I love to travel and hope to more as I get older!

    Apr 2021

  • My freshman year of high school I volunteered to help at a local auction which raised money to buy food and other necessities for needy families. I held up the items on sale so those in attendance could get a better look. My family was one of the founders of the organization so it was important to me to be a part of it.

  • When I was nine years old my community was having a citywide clean-up in which I participated. I and other community members walked around town with gloves and trash bags picking up garbage. It was a great experience for me at a young age and it was something that I could see the direct impacts of.
