About
Hello! My name is Dale Young and I am currently taking pre-requisite courses at Santa Fe College in order to transfer into the bachelor nursing program at the University of Florida.
I started out my college career dual-enrolled in high school and graduated with a general AA. After high school, I decided to achieve an associate degree in programming at Santa Fe College. I now have a degree in programming and had a change in heart and am now on a track I am much more comfortable in, being nursing.
I am currently working towards getting my CNA and plan to enroll in the University of Florida's nursing program by Fall 2024. Through this change in career, I have found myself doing more activities that I love and think that it is the career for me.

During high school I was a part of the Nation Society of High School Scholars. I was an extraordinary student in high school and graduated in the top of my class which allowed for me to achieve the status as a member of the NSHSS.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
After getting a bachelor's degree in Nursing, I plan to work in the orthopedic department of a hospital to help people that have had similar problems to myself and to become a nurse that can help everybody.
- Graduate school interests
Though a bachelor's in Nursing can get to many places in a hospital, I do plan to continue taking courses to become a better nurse.
- Outside the classroom
I have a love for motorcycles and have worked on them for about 2 years now.
I also love going outside with friends and doing group activities like canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, and everything else I can do while on the river.
I also love movies and films and greatly enjoy watching new and old movies with friends.
