About
My name is Samantha Miler. I am the first in my family to go to college. I am a mom of two girls, who are my life and my motivation. I decided at 30 to go to college and it has been the best decision of my life. My future goal is to have my masters. I started at Lone Star and now at UHD. I am so proud of what I have accomplished.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to work for the city of Houston to help protect and keep the citizens safe. I want to make sure nothing like the Astro world concert happens again. I want to make sure schools are safe for our future kids. When I have my bachelor in safety management I want to help as many people as I can. I am still learning, my goal is to keep learning.
- Graduate school interests
This will be my second semester at UHD and I intend to learn more about the school and speak to my advisor about internships and job fairs that may be beneficial to my career.
