About

My long term career goal is to leverage my technical and domain expertise to create innovative and impactful solutions to improve access to healthcare services and quality of care.

As a Graduate Research Assistant at the School of Information and Library Science, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), I apply my skills to improve the impact on research management outcome using FAIR principle that aid practitioners and stakeholders to make patient-centric decisions. I have over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on biomedical and health informatics, ETL, data visualization, and interoperability between two different health systems.

Before I decided to pursue my master's degree at UNC, I led an informatics team at icddrb (a leading global health research institute) where I implemented, improved the performance and functionalities of the nationwide routine health information system, developed real-time dashboards, and established interoperability between DHIS2 and routine health information system.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team of several successful projects at icddrb including the icddrb/MEASURE Evaluation Phase IV Project led by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), and facility mapping project named Urban Health Atlas led by GIZ and IDRC.
