I am Dr. Danayit Gebreyohannes, a recent graduate of Saint Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with title of Doctor of Medicine and a current Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine physician working in Addis Ababa. I am a prospective graduate student to start in fall of 2023 at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, with the intention to study Health Policy and Management. It is my belief that healthcare should be a human right and I am determined to be a leader in establishing an equitable access to health care in my country as well as to the people of the world.
