About
I have wanted to be a teacher since my graduation day in 2009 when I departed from high school and entered the "real world." I had some trial and error efforts along the way, trying different majors, but I always returned to teaching and always English. I now live and play in Bozeman, Mt, a short distance from my birth spot in North Dakota, but a long way from where I was in relation to what I wanted and what I want to give back. I am attending Montana State University in the spring of 2015 to finish my degree and further pursue my ambitions to teach. The town of Bozeman and the surrounding area offer more than I could have asked for from skiing, fishing, along with everything any outdoorsman would love. I am excited to continue living in the Big Sky country while studying at MSU, too one day be able to give back to such a welcoming community.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to teach English wherever suits me/is needed most. Theres a lot of this world I have yet to see, being able to experience new people and new places while teaching would be the greatest gift.
- Graduate school interests
After finishing my Bachelors in English teaching, I plan to extend my knowledge as a teacher and pursue a Masters of Art in English.
- Outside the classroom
Season to season I find myself with more and more hobbies. I am an avid outdoorsman and spend as much time as I can in the mountains. Wether it be skiing, biking, fishing, or just out for a day hike. I am most happy lost in the woods or waste deep in a flowing river with a fighting rainbow on the end of my fly rod. John Muir put it best, "the mountains are calling and I must go!"
