Awarded the honor of being named on the dean's list in the fall and spring semesters of the 2013-2014 school year.

Career goal: After obtaining my bachelor's degree in public relations, I will start my own Caribbean-styled restaurant in recognition of such a niche market in Austin, Texas. Also, I am a native of the Caribbean and would love to introduce Texas to the wonderful cuisine I grew up with. While establishing this firm, I will work or intern for a public relations firm such as FleischmanHillard. After several years of experience in public relations, I will pursue my master's degree in crisis management, and continue working in the field. Once my restaurant is established, I will start my own public relations firm/partnership. I intend for this firm to expand internationally and open branches in Caribbean countries lacking such expertise.
Graduate school interests: I intend to specialize in crisis management at the graduate level.
Outside the classroom: I love writing; I primarily write short stories which often expand into long passionate tales or condense into short, pointed poems. Aside from my professional career, I hope to write novels and publish several within my lifetime. I also enjoy dancing, swimming and watching action/adventure/comedic movies.
