Star Stevens | Honor Society®

About

My name is Star Stevens. I’m from Chicago Heights, Illinois, a small town just outside of Chicago. I am in my senior year, currently attending Bloom High School. I am the first in my family, out of seven siblings, to pursue an education at a four year university and a bachelor’s degree. As a low income student I have faced many challenges. I am proud to have been recognized for my hard work and dedication, and I believe that these honors are a testament to my commitment to excellence. I have been able to achieve academic honors that demonstrate my academic ability and potential. Not only do I excel in my academics, I work well and am active within communities.

Goals and interests

Career goal: I intend to pursue a career within the art field, as well as within the engineering career field.
Graduate school interests: I hope to someday earn my master's degree in some form of specific engineering study.
Outside the classroom: I have many hobbies, although the most prevalent being in relation to art. It is more than a career or hobby, however, and something I would note as a true passion. I also enjoy compelling literature, peer-reviewed research articles and projects.
