Wendy's at With a majority of my free time working through extracurricular activities, I spent the summer getting a part-time job at Wendy's to earn some extra money and work experience. My job, as a cashier, was to take the orders of walk-in customers. When given free time, I helped clean up the kitchen, the front dining area, and the bathrooms. Though this experience was very limited, granted the time I spent working there, this experience helped me develop time management better when it came to working at a much faster pase.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path focusses on working at an architectural firm, specifically to develop and design structures. While this fields are mainly known for developing buildings, especially those in urban, suburban, or residential areas, architecture is found outside of these areas. I want to create structures that have an everyday use along with drafting plans for buildings.
- Graduate school interests
Considering I am a first year as of now, I have not made a concrete plan for Grad School. However, I do have some schools in mind when I continue to get my education. It all depends on if I want to work on more sustainable, modern, or urban designs.
- Outside the classroom
A main reason I chose to go into architecture was because of one of my hobbies. I have always loved drawing, ever since the age of 5, and I continue too today. Whether it be for a project or just for fun, drawing will always be a hobby of mine. Aside from drawing, I also enjoy listening to music, especially hip-hop and R&B. Fitness is also something I enjoy in my spare time, so I like to go to the gym a few times a week. Finally, I enjoy movies/tv shows, especially mysteries and thrillers.

Volunteering
-
Jack & Jill is an organization that promotes the interests of black children. One of the things we did was volunteer at specific organizations or foundations. Aside from these organizations, we held food and clothing drives for those less fortunate around the holidays. For example, we focused on packaging food and gifts around Thanksgiving and Christmas, along with food, clothing, and blood towards people in need.

The organization Feed My Starving Children is a place I have spent a number of years volunteering at. Since I first became a Girl Scout to my final year at Jack & Jill, I helped package numerous boxes of food. The foundation's goal is to provide packaged meals to kids all over the world, ones that have great nutritional value and taste. Based on my experiences, I had the chance to package up the food ingredients into separate containers, along with packaging these containers into shipping boxes.
