About

I am an emerging health and wellness professional hoping to gain experience in community health and health education. As a soon-to-be graduate of an Integrated Health Sciences degree, I am passionate about serving others and helping individuals achieve their health goals. I also plan to pursue a graduate degree through the Masters of Health Sciences program at Western Carolina University with a concentration in Health Education in the fall of 2024. My past experience includes working in both one-on-one settings with clients as a nutritional consultant and working in group settings as a part of an educational outreach team. Additionally, I have worked in restaurants and kitchens for ten years, working both as a server and as a cook. Working in the service industry has taught me an array of valuable skills such as: time-management, leadership, organization, communication, customer service, and being able to work with different types of people in a fast-paced environment. I hope to use my strengths to enable people to feel more empowered when making decisions regarding their health.
