Ina Crockett

By majoring in biology and minoring in art, I am looking forward to being able to merge my love of science with my passion for creativity to inspire and educate others. My goal is to explore various scientific phenomena, while also using my artistic skills to communicate it in more creative ways with the intent of fashioning new ways of connecting the two fields that generate an appreciation for both. While I can appreciate that the combination is unique, my goal is to contribute to scientific breakthroughs that will enhance the world around me while also making it aesthetically appealing to others.

I am honored to have received the Summa Cum Laude award for my academic achievements which I believe reflects my dedication, hard work, and passion for learning throughout my studies. As an educator, my mother always taught me to strive for excellence throughout my academic career, and this honor is a testament to that commitment. My goal is to continue my academic journey, which I am excited about, by applying the knowledge and skills regardless of the field of study I choose.
