About
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Houston Clear Lake in Clear Lake, Texas. I have a love for learning about the past and excelled in History and English classes from a young age. UHCL has helped increase my love history, and I am currently a member of the Historical Honor Society. Along with historic interests, I have always had an insatiable passion for books, which is why I intend to pursue a degree in Library and Information Science, paired with Health Science, at Texas Women's University after receiving my Bachelor's. I wholeheartedly believe in the affect that reading can have on a person, young or old. It is especially important in our age of technology to rekindle a love for the written word, as it can be benefit a person academically, mentally, and socially. I hope that by becoming a Librarian, I can introduce children to new worlds and adventures, thereby enhancing their imaginations, while at the same time helping older generations sustain theirs.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I will eventually study to become either a Medical Librarian or Research Librarian. A Medical Librarian receives standard library training, paired with a degree in Health science, and work in hospitals or other medical institutions to provide information for medical professionals or the general public. A Research Librarian is taught how to perform research in a library setting. I have not decided on which degree to pursue yet, but will definitely be part of the Library/research field in some aspect.
- Graduate school interests
After graduating from UHCL with a B.A. in History, I intend to attend TWU for a Master's in Library and Information Science, possibly paired with a Health Science degree.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy reading, crochet, mixed media art, and pretty much any activity that involves craft making.
