I am an avid reader, and reading has been my biggest and most cherished hobby for as long as I can remember. Books have always provided comfort, with each important chapter of my life marked by a book that I hold close to heart. Picking up a book I haven’t read in years instantly transports me back to the first time I experienced its pages. Reading consumed my adolescent years; I remember always carrying two books to school every day—one that I was currently immersed in and another as an emergency backup, just in case I finished the first.
