About
I moved to the United States in 2015 with dreams, determination, and the hope of building a better future. My journey has not been without struggles, but every challenge has motivated me to work harder and never give up on my goals. Today, I am proud to be graduating from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology, while maintaining a 3.8 GPA and working full-time as a Senior Paralegal.
My experiences as an immigrant and my professional background in immigration law have inspired me to pursue law school and become an attorney. I understand the challenges immigrant families face, and my goal is to use my education and legal experience to advocate for those who need guidance, representation, and a voice in the legal system.
I believe that education is not only a pathway to personal success but also an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. My journey from arriving in the United States with dreams to pursuing a legal career reflects my perseverance, dedication, and belief that hard work can turn dreams into reality.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My career goal is to become a successful attorney specializing in immigration law and personal injury litigation. As an immigrant myself, I understand the challenges and sacrifices individuals and families face when seeking a better future in the United States. My professional experience as a Senior Paralegal in both immigration law and personal injury litigation has strengthened my passion for justice and helping others navigate complex legal matters. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, I plan to attend law school and obtain my Juris Doctor degree. My ultimate goal is to establish a meaningful legal career advocating for immigrant families, protecting the rights of individuals injured due to negligence, and ensuring that those who need legal representation have a voice. I aspire to make a lasting difference in my community by combining my personal experiences, education, and dedication to justice to help others overcome legal challenges and build better futures.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to pursue a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree beginning in Fall 2027, with a strong interest in attending Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School, or New York Law School. My goal is to further develop my legal knowledge, advocacy skills, and understanding of the American legal system, with a particular focus on immigration law and personal injury litigation. Through my academic background in Criminal Justice and my professional experience as a Senior Paralegal, I have developed a deep passion for justice and helping individuals navigate complex legal challenges. Attending law school will allow me to build upon these experiences, become a licensed attorney, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrants, injured individuals, and underserved communities.
- Outside the classroom
Outside the classroom and my professional responsibilities, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially my three-year-old niece, who brings so much happiness and joy into my life. Whether we are playing, laughing, or simply spending time together, these moments remind me of the importance of family, love, and creating meaningful memories. Balancing my education and full-time career can be demanding, but spending time with my loved ones helps me stay grounded, motivated, and grateful. My family is one of my greatest sources of strength and inspiration, encouraging me to continue pursuing my dreams while appreciating the little moments that make life special.
