About
My name is Penny J. Bisel, I am 47 years old and live in Indianapolis. I am lead teacher of one of Indiana's premiere child cares. We are a Paths to Quality 3 leader in our field. I am the lead over 8 teachers and I work with them every day to enrich their experiences as teachers. I help to keep their classrooms DAP (developmentally appropriate) for our children. I also interview and train any new teachers who become part of our team. I help organize and lead meetings for the staff. I also help with organizing and setting up for annual family gatherings such as open houses, seasonal parties, parent teacher conferences. It is also my job to make sure that my teachers are being observed and assessed for reviews and raises.

- Career goal
To continue my current position and possibly become a Director at some point. Or to work with companies like the United Way of Indiana and to make a difference in young children's lives.
- Graduate school interests
I have looked into attending St. Mary of the Woods for my Bachelors and Masters in Early Childhood Education.
- Outside the classroom
I am an avid Scrapbooker and I take 1000's of pictures to scrapbook! I have several albums full of pictures from throughout the years.
I also love the outdoors from gardening to camping, boating and fishing.
