Goals and interests

Career goal

My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity, beginning in an entry-level cybersecurity or information technology role while completing my bachelor's degree and earning industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+. After graduation, I intend to pursue a cybersecurity position with the federal government, where I can help protect critical information systems, strengthen national cybersecurity, and support the nation's security mission. Over time, I hope to advance into roles involving cyber defense, incident response, digital forensics, or cybersecurity engineering while continuing my professional education and serving as a leader in the field.

Graduate school interests

After completing my Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, I plan to pursue a master's degree in cybersecurity, cyber operations, or digital forensics. Graduate study will allow me to deepen my technical expertise in areas such as threat intelligence, incident response, cyber defense, and emerging technologies. My long-term goal is to build a career in federal cybersecurity, where I can help protect critical systems and contribute to national security. I am committed to lifelong learning and believe that graduate education, combined with professional certifications and practical experience, will prepare me for leadership roles in the cybersecurity field.
