About

I am a dedicated and resilient individual who believes in the power of perseverance, education, and compassion. My life’s journey has shaped me into someone who leads with empathy and purpose. As a survivor of domestic abuse and a proud mother and grandmother, I have turned adversity into motivation, using each challenge as a lesson in strength and hope.
Balancing full-time work, higher education, and family responsibilities has taught me the value of discipline, time management, and faith in one’s own potential. I am currently earning my Bachelor of Business Administration in Project Management at American InterContinental University, maintaining a 3.97 GPA while pursuing goals that extend beyond personal achievement. My mission is to create a positive impact, to build opportunities for others, especially women and children seeking safety and stability in their lives.
Service is at the heart of who I am. I volunteer with the YWCA and their annual Purse-A-Palooza fundraiser, supporting women and families in crisis. Through my advocacy work as the Montana representative for ASTA Legislative Day, I champion civic engagement and collaboration within my industry.
Above all, I believe that success is not defined by where you start, but by how you use your experiences to uplift others. My personal journey is one of growth, gratitude, and purpose, and I am committed to inspiring others to see that it is never too late to rewrite your story or reach for your dreams.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management at American InterContinental University, where I maintain a 3.97 GPA and have consistently earned placement on the President’s List. I am an active member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and am currently undergoing induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), an honor that recognizes my commitment to leadership, integrity, and service.
My career path is rooted in leadership, organization, and purpose. With over a decade of professional experience in the travel industry, I have developed strong skills in project coordination, client relations, and strategic planning. These skills are enhanced by my academic studies, which are preparing me to lead teams, manage complex initiatives, and design solutions that create real impact.
Beyond academics and career, I am deeply dedicated to community service and advocacy. I volunteer with the YWCA and their annual Purse-A-Palooza fundraiser, supporting women and families in need. I also represent Montana as a delegate for the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) Legislative Day, where I advocate for the travel industry and promote civic engagement at the state and national levels.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, I have transformed personal challenges into purpose. My long-term goal is to use my education and leadership experience to develop programs and advocate for legislation that supports women and children escaping abuse, helping them gain stability, skills, and confidence for a better future.
Driven, compassionate, and purpose oriented, I am committed to lifelong learning and to using my education and experience to lead with impact, empower others, and create positive change within both my profession and my community.

Graduate school interests

My goal after completing my Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management at American InterContinental University is to continue my educational journey by pursuing a master’s degree in project management or organizational leadership. Education has transformed my life, and I am determined to use advanced study as a platform to expand my leadership capacity and deepen my impact on both business and community development.
Graduate school will allow me to refine the strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills I have developed through my undergraduate studies and professional experience in the travel industry. I plan to focus my research and applied learning on sustainable leadership practices, social responsibility, and systems that empower people through structure and opportunity. These interests align directly with my long-term vision of creating nonprofit programs that support women and children recovering from domestic abuse by providing housing, job training, and education.
I view graduate education not as an endpoint, but as an opportunity to build greater influence and implement projects that foster resilience and empowerment. With a strong academic foundation, real-world leadership experience, and a passion for service, I am committed to using my advanced degree to lead organizations and initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change.
