About
I was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and the journey that brought me to where I am today has shaped everything about me. I spent several years in a very strict boarding school, where I learned discipline, resilience, and what it means to work hard even when things feel impossible. When I finally moved to the United States in august 2021, I carried those lessons with me, along with a deep sense of gratitude and faith.
Here, I’ve built a life that blends my passions and my goals. I’m known for two things at school — running track and capturing powerful sports moments through my camera. Sports photography became my creative outlet, and it’s a huge part of who I am. Whether I’m at a football game or on the track myself, I love being able to tell stories through pictures.
At the same time, I take my academics seriously. I’ve kept strong grades while taking AP and dual-enrollment classes, and I’m preparing for a future in finance, technology, sports, and business. I’m especially interested in data science and analytics, and I’ve started self-learning Python to build the skills I need for the career I want.
Family means a lot to me, and everything I do is motivated by the desire to make life better for the people I love, especially those still in Kenya. I try to stay grounded in my faith, my culture, and my goals, and I’m constantly working on becoming the best version of myself.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My long-term career goal is to work at the intersection of finance, technology, sports, and business with photography remaining a creative side pursuit. I'm interested in careers that blend money, number, data, and technology, especially in the sports industry. For example, I'm drawn to roles like financial analyst for sports organizations, sports data analyst, sports tech development, or even financial engineering anywhere but preferably within athletic companies. I want to be part of the business and financial side of sports, using data, math, and technology to support decision making, performance analytics, and financial growth. At the same time, I plan to keep sports photography as part of my journey. Photography is my creative outlet and a way for me to stay connected to sports culture. Even if it isn't my full time job, I'm building it as a side career or business that allows me to contribute to athletics through media and storytelling. Overall, my path isn't limited to one major or one box. I'm building a career that combines finance, tech, sports, and business with photography as a personal brand and creative extension who I am.
