About

As a graduate student in a family of five with three children, I am pursuing my master’s degree as the first in my family to ever reach this milestone, carrying the weight of both personal pride and generational progress. Balancing the demands of being a full-time leader, manager, and assessor in the physical security, antiterrorism, and law enforcement fields, I approach each day with discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to lead by example. This journey is not just about earning a degree, it’s about showing my children that perseverance, hard work, and dedication can break barriers and redefine what is possible for our family’s future.

Career goal

With 30 years of experience in the security field, my intended job path is to serve in a senior leadership role such as Director of Security or Chief Security Officer, where I can leverage my expertise in risk management, crisis response, physical security, and policy development to protect people, assets, and operations while mentoring the next generation of security professionals.

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interests center on organizational leadership, ethical decision-making, and strategic management, with a focus on applying these skills to enhance security operations, strengthen team performance, and drive positive change in complex, high-stakes environments.

Outside the classroom

Hobbies include doing anything with my family, collecting sports cards, and completing tasks at home that make the living atmosphere better.
