The DAISY Award is a national recognition program that honors nurses for providing exceptional, compassionate, and patient-centered care. I received this award for consistently going above and beyond for my patients and their families.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner, providing comprehensive primary care, with a focus on preventive medicine, women’s health, and chronic disease management. Long-term, I aspire to expand my leadership role in healthcare through clinical practice, business development, and community outreach.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate studies are focused on Family Nurse Practitioner training, with a special interest in women’s health, pediatrics, and primary care across the lifespan. I plan to further expand my education through specialized certifications in hormone replacement therapy, obesity management, and functional medicine.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy dancing and exploring different styles of movement as a way to stay active and creative. I also enjoy watching movies as both entertainment and a way to broaden my perspective on storytelling and culture. A meaningful part of my personal time is dedicated to finding new ways to contribute to the community through my company, Serendivine Home Healthcare, whether through outreach, education, or developing supportive resources for those in need. Additionally, I find relaxation and inspiration in listening to music, which helps me balance my professional and academic responsibilities.
