About

My name is Sarah Jackson, and I am a junior at The University of Missouri-Kansas City. I have always known I wanted to be an educator. I find the most joy and satisfaction in life when I am helping and educating children. I believe that I have the ability to create a classroom where children feel comfortable, and have a willingness to learn. I also feel equally blessed to be able to be a part of shaping and influencing their lives. I have often worked while going to school and managed to succeed in both. I feel I have obtained the ability to multitask successfully, which I believe is an important quality to have when educating a classroom of younger children. To me, children represent our future and are a gift; and every child should be treated as such.
