About

I love figuring out how things work, and have fun re-creating and re-engineering that thing. That is how my brain works, and it is how I understand new concepts and come up with my own ideas. Being hands-on with a new material, like a new filament for my 3D printer, I can test an idea and pass/ fail it. Once I figure out a new process, I can play around with it and try to take it to the next level. Problem solving has always been fun, and I have always liked the challenge.
I know I would be a great engineer, and I could use my mindset to further any industrial field that needed a creative problem solver. My goal is to learn as much about the fundamentals of mechanical engineering and the science of how different materials move and act in various environments +conditions.
An engineering degree will give me the tools I need, including the formulas, scientific concepts, fundamentals to really understand what I know I’ve already observed. Thank you for considering me for this award, I will put it to good use here in South Louisiana!
