Leon Yusuff Jenkins Jr

My name is Leon Yusuff Jenkins Jr, and I am currently a senior at Whale Branch Early College High School. As both a student and an athlete, I have learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork through my involvement in football. Playing on the field has not only challenged me physically, but it has also fueled my curiosity about how the body works and how training, nutrition, and recovery impact performance.

This curiosity has inspired me to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. I am eager to study how movement, health, and science come together to improve lives, both for athletes and for people in everyday life. My long-term goal is to become a physical therapist and or an athletic trainer, where I can help others reach their full potential.

I am excited about the opportunity to continue my education and take the lessons I’ve learned from academics, athletics, and my community into the next chapter of my journey.
