About

I am currently pursuing a third graduate degree with the intention to continue on to my PhD. I graduated from my undergraduate program in French within three years and completed my masters degree in French Language and Literature in 2011 with a cumulative GPA of 3.71. During this program I taught French 101 and 102 at the University of Hawai'i, Manoa as a Graduate Assistant. In 2012, I pursued a masters certification in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), which consisted of linguistic courses (syntax, morphology, semantics, lexicon, etc.) and teacher training. I graduated in 2013 with a cumulative GPA of 3.82. Currently, I am in the Spanish graduate program of the University of Colorado, Denver and hope to use my prior degrees to enter into a PhD program for Fall 2016.

I am passionate about art and design of any kind and use recycled materials to create useful things (art pieces that are also jewelry hangers, animal toys, containers, etc.) I love philosophy and have a particular love for "dissecting" the literary works of Voltaire, Locke, Descartes, Camus, and others.
