About

I am a proud mother of four amazing children and nine wonderful grandchildren. I work for a great employer and truly enjoy helping people. I have been in my job for over 10 years, and I am still learning and growing each and every day. I love traveling and exploring what the world has to offer. I am a cancer survivor, 1.5 years cancer-free, and I don’t take life for granted. I truly believe life is what we make of it, and I plan on creating as many memories as possible before my next destination in life.

Goals and interests

Career goal

With my master’s degree in criminal justice, I plan to pursue a career focused on helping individuals and communities through advocacy, case management, and support services. I am especially interested in working in areas related to victim services, reentry programs, or community-based justice initiatives where I can make a positive impact. I would like to use my degree in juvenile system through re-entry programs.

Graduate school interests

I want to learn more about victim advocacy, trauma-informed treatment, criminal justice, and community-based solutions in graduate school. I want to learn more about how systems affect people and how practice, policy, and support services may collaborate to advance long-term stability, safety, and healing.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies include painting, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy expressing myself through art, getting lost in a good book, and exploring new places and cultures. Most of all, I value making memories and sharing meaningful moments with the people I care about.
